In the midst of work and world events, sometimes we need a respite, something silly to allow a release of emotion.
Being a little goofy.
Reminding us that the world needs silly and serious, but neither all the time.
If we only “keep our eyes on the prize,” focus on goals and world happenings and all the things, we build up tension. We learn to live with the stress and treat anything unserious as unworthy.
Feh.
Been there, done that.
No more.
We are silly and serious, each in its own measure. One taking center stage, with the other in the background or a bit player for context. And then shifting around.
If all the world’s a stage, we need both drama and comedy.
Some thoughts at week’s end
